Dr. Sydney Polifrone attended Ohio University for undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as a minor in Psychology. She then attended graduate school at East Carolina University and obtained a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree. Throughout graduate school, she worked in various hearing healthcare settings such as hospitals, ENT/otology practices, school systems, and Veterans Affairs. Her final externship year was spent at Davis Family Hearing, a private practice in Tampa Bay, Florida.
After graduation from East Carolina University, Dr. Polifrone obtained a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Polifrone’s interests within the field of audiology include diagnostic evaluations, fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, counseling, and aural rehabilitation. She seeks to improve the quality of life in her patients and provide the utmost care and service through evidence-based methods of audiologic practice. In her free time, Dr. Polifrone enjoys musical theatre, watching true crime documentaries, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
